Currently, MLC represents management-level employees of the United States Postal Service through the Adverse Action Legal Defense Plan (AALDP) administered by the non-bargaining entity United Postmasters and Managers of America (UPMA). MLC has also counseled Principals and Superintendents in education through the California Association of School Administrators (ACSA), another non-bargaining unit in the public schools arena. MLC has conducted hundreds of hours of workforce training for employees of school districts and administrators of collectively-bargained agreements. We have assisted in contract negotiations for many employment groups and can give broad or detailed advice on a wide range of employment issues. MLC has also effectively represented plaintiff clients in a variety of civil rights-related matters, including but not limited to race/gender discrimination, Veteran – status, and USERRA (Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act) discrimination, etc.
